Hi all,

I have just completed a guide and FAQs for the forums. I hope they will be of use to new users and maybe have some revelations for our current and valued members!

Comments, criticisms additions corrections welcomed as always.

This is in preparation for the move to MS SQL. RAUK has remained quite quiet and tranquil for the last couple of years, this has largely been because I haven't put a lot of effort into fully promoting the site. Partly because of our battle with server resources, partly due to a few knock-backs in the early days (thanks to the person who pointed out that those who treated RAUK with scepticism and cynicism in the early days are nobody in herpetology anyway)

So, once we move it will be time to 'kick the tyres and light the fires' as they say in the USAF (I might just be lost in the field somewhere when it happens)

PS major appologies if you tried to post today and received a script error, I over-wrote a file by mistake.. oopps
